It just has that KBBQ vibe. The servers are so friendly and super accommodating. They suggest, recommend, and chat you up. Super cozy. As for the food, get the signature dish: gobchang (intestines). For a medium, you get to choose three of the four choices: abomasum (stomach), tripe, large intestines, and small intestines. Additionally, you get side dishes, a choice of a stew (kimchi or fermented soybean), corn cheese, steamed egg, and salad. They cook the intestines for you before bringing it out to your table, so that it says warm as you eat. They stir fry the intestines with potato slices, onions, garlic and mushrooms. They really do 곱창 right. We also ordered the beef tartare, since they had posters of it around the restaurant. The beef tartare is definitely in the top 3 of the ones I've tried around OC, NY, and SD. The cuts are thicker than normal and the seasoning is perfect. They don't include a lot of ingredients like other places do, but it just hits better. It's within a plaza, so there is plenty of parking around the restaurant. This place has become one of my go-tos for gopchang. A++!

This establishment offers a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is wonderfully inviting, setting the perfect mood for a meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite flavors of the dishes presented. Service was attentive and gracious throughout our visit. We would be pleased to return and recommend it to others.

Hak San is seriously one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve tried 😭🔥 The intestines were super fresh and flavorful, especially the large intestine — crispy, chewy, and sooo good when grilled. The side dishes were great, the staff was friendly, and the whole vibe felt like a late-night spot in Korea. Definitely recommend getting the combo if you’re going with friends so you can try different kinds 👀

taste so blend but overpriced. Can you believe we paid $108 for this meal in photo? Better go bbq instead. And service? had to wait so long to order, i cant believe there are good reviews in google but i will NEVER COME BACK. I wish i should have to bbq nearby instead. I even have a thought that the good reviews from here posted because of free soda.

If you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ in the South Bay — especially Korean-style grilled beef intestines (gopchang) — this is the place to go. One thing that really stands out to me is how clean and well-prepared the gopchang is. Korean-style gopchang is known for its thorough cleaning and careful preparation, and I truly felt a sense of safety and quality here. That attention to detail makes a big difference. All of the side dishes were excellent as well — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. I’d definitely love to come back here often with friends!
